Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the difference between a Workspace and a Teamspace?
In short, a Teamspace is like a Workspace within a Workspace. Teamspaces are shared and collaborative spaces where anyone that is a member can share their work and collaborate on Workflows, Chats, and more. A Workspace is an account that contains multiple Teamspaces and is connected to a subscription. By default every Workspace will start with a public General Teamspace that all Workspace users will be a part of and each individual user will have their own Personal Teamspace.
How many Teamspaces can I have?
There is currently no limit to the number of Teamspaces within a Workspace.
Does everyone in my Workspace have access to all Teamspaces?
No. There are 3 types of Teamspaces, and only Public Teamspaces are available to everyone in the Workspace.
Public - Anyone in the Workspace can see and join the Teamspace.
Private - Only users that have been invited can see and join the Teamspace.
Personal - Everyone in the Workspace has their own Personal Teamspace which is private and only visible to them.
How does Public and Private work in Teamspaces?
Everything that is in a Teamspace is available to all members of the Teamspace.
This includes:
Chats (Projects)
Workflows
Infobase entries
Brand Voices
Each user in a Workspace also has their own Personal Teamspace. Everything within the Personal Teamspace is private and only available to that specific user.
To switch to your Personal Teamspace, just click on the Teamspace selector in the left sidebar and select Personal.
Can we move Chats from one Teamspace to a different Teamspace?
Yes. You can move Chats (Projects), Folders, Workflows, Brand Voices, and Infobase entries. Learn more here.
Do Brand Voices and Infobase entries persist across Teamspaces
No. Brand Voices and Infobase entries are only available to the Teamspaces they are in. However, you can duplicate a Brand Voice or Infobase entry and move it to another Teamspace.
How does my subscription work?
Subscriptions are at the Workspace level. Any subscription limits (e.g. Workflow Credits) are shared across the entire Workspace (all Teamspaces).
