What is Brand Voice?

Brand Voice analyzes previously written content to detect your brand’s voice, allowing you to ensure that content generated is written in the tone and style of your brand in Chat and Workflows.

You can create any number of Brand Voices in a Teamspace and Workspace, but only Brand Voices created in your currently set Teamspace will be accessible within Chat and Workflows.

If needed, Brand Voices can be moved between Teamspaces.

How to create a Brand Voice

In order to create a Brand Voice, click on Brand Voice in the left hand navigation menu, then select Create Brand Voice in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Once on the Add Brand Voice screen, paste in the previously written / published content to analyze. This can be anything such as a blog article, social post, mission statement, or even webpage copy. For best results keep the analysis limited to at least 50 but not more than 500 words.

Once your content is added, select Analyze Brand Voice. The end result will provide you a description of tone, style, language and audience based on the content you originally provided. This will in turn help you generate future content in this same voice.

Edit the Brand Voice as needed based on the analysis output and once finished, hit Save Brand Voice. If needed, select Redo Analysis to re-run the analysis on the previously given content.

Setting a default Brand Voice in a Teamspace

Set the default Brand Voice in your Teamspace by clicking on the desired Brand Voice record, and toggling the Save as the default voice across your Teamspace toggle.

Once done, you should see a DEFAULT badge next to that Brand Voice in the list.

Brand voice in Chat

You can select any Brand Voice record from the current Teamspace your Chat Project is currently in. All Brand Voices within that Teamspace are available as an option.

It’s important to select the Brand Voice before sending your prompt to Chat.

Brand Voice in Workflows

You can use a Brand Voice in workflow by selecting the Brand Voice in actions such as Rewrite with Brand Voice, Write Long Form Content to select a Brand Voice and write or rewrite the content in the Brand Voice selected.

Remember, each Brand Voice is only accessible in the Teamspace it is stored in.
